Freight & Shipping

Humid air and moisture that becomes trapped in freight and shipping containers, when at sea, can become a severe problem with rapid mould growth. Due to the extensive periods that containers are at sea, fluctuating temperatures which can cause condensation (container rain) and pooling water, become difficult contenders.

MCA Group is experienced in working with freight containers and shipping crates, providing an effective mould treatment to restore them to their original condition.

More importantly, MCA Group is able to respond quickly to keep freight moving onto its intended destination.

Catastrophic Events

MCA Group have an established Rapid Response Team to deal with the large-scale disaster events, from major storms to cyclones and bushfires.  

As we work closely with Insurance companies and Third-Party Loss Adjustors, we are constantly communicating with each other; measuring the volume of incoming claims, and determining which suburbs are going to be the most impacted during these events.

Once requested, our team of specialists are stationed in the impacted area and our Customer Service Team Members work closely with the Insurer and Policy Holder to understand the damages that have occurred. Through our custom triage process, which is conducted upon first contact, our technicians become aware of the situation before they are even on-site.

This team of field technicians will be on-site within 24hours, along with the tools and expertise required to get any make safe and restoration works underway. This team is in addition to our dedicated State-based teams, who normally service the area.

Equipment banks are established in a central location, for easy access and to limit travel times to re-stock, allowing us to attend more incoming claims.
