This investment property was located in a historic coastal town near Geelong.
Upon initial attendance it was identified that the fire had start from the tenant’s electric heater. A thick layer of smoke was left covering the window furnishings, ceilings, walls, floor coverings, doors and contents of the bedroom, hallway and kitchen.
Although the fire was small enough for the property occupant to extinguish, the permeant damages to the bedroom where the heater was located included furniture, built in wardrobe as well as carpet and underlay which all had to be removed and replaced.
Whilst there was a small amount of non-salvageable contents and materials, The MCA Group was able to restore majority of the home in preparation for painting.
