After the MCA Group technicians attended and provided the insurer with the report, we were approved to move forward with the remediation works. The policy holder requested a specific date and time for the restoration to occur and our team was able to cater to their needs.
It was necessary to remove affected plaster from the ceiling of the garage which had been deemed non-salvageable and to treat affected beams with GM6000. Once the affected areas were removed and treated, the MCA Group technician covered the exposed cavity with builder’s plastic. After all visible mould had been treated the property was fogged to ensure all the mould spores were treated.
The policy holder was able to return to the home after only 4 hours of the technician being on site.
