Located in the Hills District of Sydney, this property was affected by a large storm which resulted in a tree branch putting a hole in the roof and allowing water to enter the property which then allowed mould growth to occur.
After the event MCA Group was appointed to report on the mould issue.
The initial inspection found that the property had visible mould in multiple areas. MCA Group recommended the insurer to appoint a roofing specialist to attend and make all necessary, permanent repairs to the affected roof prior to our remediation works.
MCA group were then contacted again after repairs had been made to conduct micro cleaning on the framework in the roof cavity and the ceiling in another room and then a fogging treatment of the entire premises to remove all mould.
Following MCA Groups attendance, the policy holder was able to return to the property the same day and enjoy a mould free home.
