Refresh your carpets

Any mould affected carpet should be assessed to determine if it is salvageable and decide on the best course of action. Any staining relating to mould growth needs to be identified and documented.

Carpet is inspected to determine the pile and fibres composition, such as:

  •         Nylon,
  •         Wool,
  •         Synthetic,
  •         Acrylic, and
  •         Polyester

The backing of carpet is also inspected for dilapidation, and to determine the composition, such as:

  •         Polyurethane,
  •         Jute,
  •         Soft plastic, and
  •         Lytex

If the carpet is salvageable a sanitising spray is applied, and a hot water deep clean is performed to return the carpet to the pre-loss condition, removing any surface mould and mould related staining.
