The Inspection Process

Once mould growth is identified inside a property it can raise health concerns for the occupants.

MCA Group understands the importance of a prompt attendance and once we have been notified one of our customer service team members will contact the homeowner and organise an Inspection attendance time with our technicians.

Inspection Reporting

As we recognise the speed and accuracy of information and report is critical, all reporting is cloud based and in real time. This allows us to send reports in a matter of hours from the time of site attendance and in some cases while our technicians are still on site.

Inspection Devices

To gain a full understanding of the mould growth we use three main tools.

Mould Remediation Process

Our mould remediation process involves treating mould growth and removing the staining with GM 6000. GM600 is for the removal of the visible mould from hard surfaces only.  It can be used to remove the staining on such surfaces as gyprock, concrete, timbers, stonework, roofing, brickwork etc.

Contents Restoration

During the mould remediation process all contents are inspected for visible mould growth. Any contents with non-porous items can be treated easily and restored. Any items with visible mould growth on non-porous surfaces need to be assessed to see if the mould growth and staining associated be removed.

Carpet Cleaning

Any mould affected carpet should be assessed to determine if it is salvageable and decide on the best course of action. Any staining relating to mould growth needs to be identified and documented.
