Returning Contents to Origianal

Contents which are affected by smoke, soot and odour will be assessed for damage and restoration works.

For items which can be restored, they are assessed and the appropriate steps for restoration outlined. Soft furnishing items, which can typically be restored to a pre-fire condition, include upholstery such as couches and chairs, and furniture and rugs, with our technicians identifying the appropriate type of cleaning method for each item.

Also included in contents restoration are items such as electronics, wood furniture, kitchen utensils, ornaments and other household possessions.

For clothing and linen, specialist dry cleaning methods are used. Each item will be taken off-site by one of our technicians for dry cleaning services. Once complete, items will be delivered to your nominated location, ready for you to use again.

If items cannot be restored, an extensive document list is created, outlining the type, model, dimensions and other critical information, which identifies the specific type of item, and will be sent directly to the Insurer.
